Art Auction House, Appraisals and Private Sales in Milwaukee

Our Milwaukee auction house draws a global audience of art enthusiasts and collectors with its curated selection of fine art, exquisite jewelry, furniture, and high-end collectibles.

Prestigious Milwaukee auctions have included the estate of Mary Griggs Burke, a renowned collector who acquired the largest and most important private collection of Japanese art outside of Japan. The auction included paintings, sculpture, artifacts, textiles and ceramics, some of which had been exhibited at the Tokyo National Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Another prominent Milwaukee auction was that of the Jean Friedlander estate. Her collection included such notable pieces as a 1936 lithograph by Diego Rivera, a 1982 hand-colored lithograph by JoAnna Poehlmann, in addition to a selection of postwar furniture and fine art.
