Our Cincinnati auction house draws a global audience of art enthusiasts and collectors with its curated selection of fine art, exquisite jewelry, and high-end collectibles.

Prominent single-owner sales held in Cincinnati include The Lifetime Collection of Forrest Fenn which featured jewelry, historic artifacts, collectibles,and Native American garments.

The Cincinnati auction house was also host to the Frontier Firearms sale from the Lifetime Collection of Larry Nes. The net proceeds from the sale totaled nearly $930,000. There were over 2,700 bidders involved in the sale with a sell-through rate of 93%. Collection highlights included a Winchester 1st Model 1876 rifle attributed to Sitting Bull, a US Model 1842 musket collected at Wounded Knee, and a native-captured 7th Cavalry US Model 1873 trapdoor carbine in its original “Custer Era” configuration.

Another important auction involved the Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fleischmann III which boasted valuable rugs, paintings, engravings, collectibles, and furniture and included a Paul Howard Manship bronze sculpture, The Javelin Thrower, which alone sold for $25,200.

Finally, the Cincinnati auction house facilitated the sale of The Donald F. Moylan, M.D. Collection of American Furniture, Folk & Decorative Arts. Featured pieces from this collection included a Pilgrim Century turned maple and oak spindle-backed chair that sold for $6,000, a William Matthew Prior painting, Untitled, and a Jasper Miles painting, also Untitled, both of which sold for $9,500 each.
