Single shot miquelet lock muzzleloading smoothbore musket with fixed notch rear sight, no front sight, sling rings on the counterpane and reverse of forend. Traditional miquelet flint lock with grooved frizzen and external mainspring. Unmarked, decorated with traditional motifs and patterns that are both engraved in the metal and embossed on the brass barrel bands. An old leather sling is attached to the sling rings of the gun. A very attractive example.
