A pair of quarter plate daguerreotype portraits of the same finely-dressed woman. [Philadelphia]: [McClees & Germon], n.d. (Tarnishing to edges, oxidation to mats; both retain a majority of their original seals.) Housed in fully or partially split pressed paper cases (significant wear). One mat stamped for McClees & Germon. Portraits appear to be mirror images of one another, one possibly copied. -- A pair of sixth plate daguerreotype portraits of the same young man with long hair. (Tarnishing to edges, heavy clouding and spotting to one image.) Housed in a half pressed paper case and a fully separated pressed paper case (significant wear/loss). -- A quarter plate ambrotype and albumen photograph of the same identified gentleman, John Godfrey Bride, appearing to be mirror images of one another, one possibly copied. Ambrotype loose from broken mount, albumen print framed. -- And 21 others, including 14 daguerreotypes and 7 ambrotypes and tintypes, many without cases. -- Together, 27 images including assorted pairs and trios of photographs featuring the same subject, some of which are likely copied images.
