[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. A group of 6 cased images featuring subjects with musical instruments, including:
Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young boy in plaid posed with a small drum. Trenton, NJ: Morris Moses, n.d. (Tarnishing to edges with further discoloration and clouding throughout and mild weeping glass effect, spotting to mat; original seals.) Housed in a half pressed paper case. Mat stamped for Moses. -- Quarter plate ambrotype portrait of a young child in Scottish attire leaning against a chair and holding onto part of what appears to be a set of bagpipes. (Some darkening to image, with some image loss to bottom portion and wear to edges; unsealed.) No case. -- And 4 others, including 3 sixth plate daguerreotypes and one sixth plate tintype. -- Together, 6 cased images featuring subjects with musical instruments.
