Oblong 4to. Twenty mounted photographs with titles in negative. (Mounting pages toned, some images loose.) Original publisher's illustrated wrappers, string bound with tassels (minor chipping, some loss to title pigment).
FIRST EDITION of a promotional booklet for the Potter Hotel and Santa Barbara. The Potter was built in 1903 by Los Angeles businessman Milo Potter on top of Burton's mound at a reported cost of $1.1 million. RARE: OCLC locates 2 copies.
