A Famille Rose ‘Immortal' Porcelain Plaque
REPUBLIC PERIOD, SIGNED WANG QI (1884-1937)

民國  王琦作劉海戲金蟾圖瓷板
of rectangular form, painted to show the immortal, Liu Hai, carring a strand of coins in his hands and a gourd on his back, looking at a three legged toad resting on his left shoulder, dated winter of the wuchen year corresponding to 1928, signed Wang Qi, one artist's seal. 
Sight: height 14 1/4 x 9 1/4 in., 36 x 23 cm.
