The group of bayonets includes:
1) US Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" overall with locking ring intact. Blued finish, marked US on the face of the blade.
2) US Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet. Blade shortened to 14.5", 3" socket, 17.5" overall with locking ring intact. Reblued finish, US on the face of the blade is almost illegible.
3) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" overall with locking ring intact. Bayonet has been plated, US marked on the face of the blade.
4) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" overall, missing the locking ring. Bright finish, US marked on the face of the blade.
5) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. Blade shortened to 16" blade, 3" socket, 19" overall with locking ring intact. Bright finish with moderate surface oxidation, US marked on the face of the blade.
6) US Model 1835 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 2.67" socket, 20.675" in overall length. Plated finish, US marked on fact of blade, locking ring intact.
7) US Model 1816 Socket Bayonet. 16" blade, 2.9" friction fit T-mortise socket, 19" in overall length. Bayonet has been plated, marked US/TA on face of blade.
8) US Model 1819 Hall Rifle Socket Bayonet. 16" blade, 2.9" fit T-mortise socket, 19" in overall length. Unmarked.
9) British Land Pattern Socket Bayonet. 17" blade, 4.125" friction fit socket, 20.75" in overall length. No legible markings. Heavily oxidized metal.
10) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" overall, locking ring intact. Moderately oxidized metal, US marked on the face of the blade.
