Lot Description
Antonio Zeno Shindler
7 3/8 x 5 1/4 in. albumen photograph on original 10 x 8 in. cardstock mount with imprint of Addis Gallery, Washington, DC in lower margin. Penciled notations in different hands on mount recto and verso. Originally taken by Antonio Zeno Shindler in 1868 and printed ca 1868-1869 when Shindler was the proprietor and photographer at the Addis gallery.
