[CLAY, Henry (1777-1852) & WEBSTER, Daniel (1782-1852)]. Group of CDVs featuring the Whig statesmen.
2 different CDV formats of the same portrait of Henry CLAY by Mathew Brady, including an oval portrait with mat identifying the subject and photographer. Each with copyright statement on mount recto, one dated 1861 and the other 1862. Each with publisher's imprint and Brady negative credit on verso. -- Together with 4 CDVs of prominent Whig Party statesmen, including 2 additional formats of Clay, Daniel Webster, and a contrived group portrait of The Great Triumvirate: Clay, Webster, and John C. Calhoun, with photographers variably identified on mount recto and on verso via backmarks.
