6 5/8 x 8 5/8 in. albumen photograph on cardstock mount, copyrighted in the negative by J.C.H. Grabill of Deadwood and Sturgis, Dakota Territory. and captioned, "No. 333. 'The Interview.' Three Cheyenne chief and interpreter, visit Col. Oelrichs, at Oelrichs, Dak., on July 4th, 1887. No. 1, interpreter. E. Standing Elk. No. 2, Col. Oelrichs. No. 3, Chief Standing Elk.
