15 CDVs of Union generals and other officers wearing mourning bands or pins in remembrance of Abraham Lincoln following his assassination, ca 1865. Subjects include:

General John A. Logan, 2 poses from the same sitting, mourning crepe on arm. Washington, DC and New York: Brady & Co. -- Admiral David G. Farragut, mourning band on arm. Boston: Black & Case. -- Major Harry Lake Gilmour (identified on verso), mourning cockade on sleeve. Washington, DC: Gardner, published by Philp & Solomons. -- Captain Abner L. Knowlton (identified in an identical portrait), 4th New Hampshire Volunteers, mourning ribbon tied around arm. Laconia, NH: W.L. Wilder. -- First Lieutenant Thomas B. Prendergast (identified on verso), mourning band on sleeve. New York: Charles D. Fredricks & Co. -- 3 images of the same unidentified officer holding his sword and wearing a mourning cockade on his sleeve. Washington, DC: Jno.
