A Japanese Satsuma-Type Small Cabinet Vase and a Bowl, Seikozan, Meiji Period
Meiji Period (1868-1912)

The tapered ovoid vase decorated with iris below a dense floral shoulder, the hemispherical bowl with "millefiori" exterior, the interior with a family resting under a mountainside shelter, viewing a waterfall, undersides of both with artist's marks.
Height of Vase 4 3/4 in., 12 cm.
