Three-quarter vellum over marbled paper-covered boards, spine labels perished, library label at foot of spine, boards and extremities rubbed; all edges trimmed, library ink stamp at top of text block; library book-plate on front paste-down; ownership inscription on front blank, gift inscription below same, dated 1905; contemporary inscription at bottom of title-page; each plate with perforated library stamp in fore-edge (affecting some image area in most plates), and library ink stamp on verso; final seven plates trimmed to plate mark and mounted to sheets; soiling and foxing to each sheet; library pocket mounted on rear paste-down.
