Lot Description

[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. A large assortment of frames, cases, and sundry other accoutrements.

6 3/4 x 10 1/2 x 2 5/8 in. wooden stereoviewer. -- 8 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 in. wooden Kodak film tank, with majority of gold and red label identifying the apparatus retained on top. -- 20 assorted frames, ranging in size from 2 1/2 x 3 in. to 13 3/4 x 15 1/4 in., including on Union example, metal and wood examples, and examples made of other materials. -- 16 assorted cases including velvet, Union, pressed paper, and leatherette examples. -- 6 assorted images (5 paper, one modern daguerreotype) housed in half cases or without cases at all. -- And 3 additional items including a "Shomescope" mirror with 3 slats.
