[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 22 sixth plate daguerreotypes of lovely young women.
Crisp seated image of a woman wearing fingerless lace gloves, a large shawl, and drop earrings. She also wears a rather somber facial expression. (Minor tarnishing to edges, very few imperfections, image rather clear; reglazed and resealed; no preserver.) Housed in a leatherette case (surface wear). -- Crisp seated portrait of a young woman sitting next to a table upon which rests her elbow and a stack of at least 5 volumes. (Rather clear image, spotting to mat and preserver; resealed 1998.) Housed in a book-style case with hand painting and mother-of-pearl inlay (general wear). -- And 20 others. Some without cases. Conditions vary. -- Together, 22 sixth plate daguerreotypes of young adult women.
