Two US Model 1819 Hall Rifle Socket Bayonets
Mexican American War
1) 16" bright blade with 9" fuller, 19" in overall length. 2.94" socket with T-mortise cut for a top stud and bridge with properly offset notched cut for the Hall Rifle's front sight blade. Prow point tip. Unmarked.
2) 15.75" bright blade with 9" fuller, 19" in overall length. 2.94" socket with T-mortise cut for a top stud and bridge with properly offset notched cut for the Hall Rifle's front sight blade. Conventional tip. Marked with a single punch dot at the ricasso.
