Lot Description

**Rare B90 and S92 Marked G Series Luger by Mauser
World War II

9mm Para. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 7055a. Blued metal finish with straw colored small parts mounting checkered walnut grips and standard military sights. Short recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Toggle link shows the S/42 code indicating it was made by the Mauser factory, along with a G mark to the barrel extension. Item shows the {Droop Wing Eagle} mark on the right barrel, barrel extension, and left breechblock. Further struck with the rare B90 and S92 marks to the barrel extension. A further B90 mark is struck on the upper barrel and the barrel lug. Barrel further struck with an 8.82 bore gauge mark. Standard GELADEN and GESICHERT marks. Serial numbers match where observable. No serial numbers on grip panels. Magazines do not match. Comes with one alloy base plug magazine, and one wood base plug magazine. Included flap holster struck with the maker marking GENSCHOW & CO. A. G./BERLIN followed by {Droop Wing Eagle/WaA387}, and a date mark of 1937. Also included are the original bringback papers for this lot, signed and dated August 31, 1944. {C&R}
