American Civil War to Indian Wars
Private purchase 9-button junior officer's frock coat with large infantry "Eagle I" buttons on the breast, and three cuff sized "Eagle I" on each non-fictional cuff. Made of fine grade dark blue wood broadcloth that is fading to a blackish-green color with a dark green polished cotton lining, black velvet lined collar, hook and eye collar closure, quilted chest, functional tail pockets and a breast pocket. Balloon style elbows measure about 8.5" wide at their widest point. Mounted with a pair of infantry 1st lieutenant's shoulder straps. The coat is accompanied by a well worn burgundy woven silk officer's sash that is just under 8' in total length, including the tassels and is nominally 3" wide.
