Nominally 20.5" tall by 14.5" wide, with four rubber feet on the bottom and a leather carrying strap attached to the rear upper portion of the log that has been cut away. Face of log has a nominally 6.25" diameter "cannonball" which is non-ferrous and will not attract a magnet, indicating it is not iron. The diameter is slightly larger than any standard Civil War era field artillery bore diameters and is appropriate for a 32 pound gun. The log was likely assembled as a decorative item and has a coating of varnish or polyurethane on it to protect it. Overall weight is about 42 pounds. A good looking "War Log" that would be a nice decorative accent piece in a room that is Civil War themed, or as an addition to your "gun room".
