Pierced guard decorated with a wreath enclosing the letters CS with further floral accents overall, and olive branches bordering the pommel. Blade is decorated with floral accents enclosing C.S.A. initials on both sides with the Confederate {Stars and Bars} on the right. Ricasso struck with a maker mark resembling a kitchen knife over the letter A followed by the inscription TOLEDO/SPAIN. The multi-part knuckle bow has broken with the rear 2.25" loose.
