Blade exhibits a midare (hamon) line, and features a gold plated habaki. Standard mounts include brass tsuba (guard) decorated with sakura to corners over a pierced ground. Hilt features brown grip tape enclosing two sakura menuki and white rayskin wrap. Saya is painted metal with a wood core set in a leather cover. Mekugi pin has swollen in place and cannot be removed without its destruction. Blade appears to have been polished and sharpened at some point.
