Nickel Plated Remington Smoot New Model No 1 Revolver
.30RF. 2.8125" octagonal barrel. SN: 2649. Nickel finish, blued trigger, checkered hard rubber grips. Single action revolver with five-chambered fluted cylinder, frame groove rear sight, blade front sight, and ball head ejector rod. One line barrel marking reads E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, NY. PAT. W.S. SMOOT. OCT. 21. 1873. Cylinder measures .8125" (13/64") in length, rather than .875" as on the 2nd Model Smoot revolvers. {ANTIQUE}
