Single shot percussion muzzleloading smooth bore all metal pistol with front action percussion lock, belt hook, frame notch rear sight, no front sight and steel ramrod. Lightly engraved lock marked BLANCH & SON LONDON under the bolster. Frame profusely engraved with flowing foliate motifs and Celtic knot patterns. Butt cap with decorative "jewel" that is loose and not currently attached to the pistol, with a foil lining inside the recess to enhance the decorative effect.
