Right frame marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY over the serial number and M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY to the dustcover, and additionally marked SA, indicating it was rearsenaled at Springfield Armory. Left barrel struck COLT 45 AUTO. P marks to the underside of the barrel and to the upper slide forward of the rear sight. Grips show the standard K within a Star logo for the Keyes company. Comes in a pattern 1916 leather holster with the maker mark reading MILWAUKEE SADDLERY CO./1942. {C&R}
