33.5" double edged, straight spear point blade, 2" wide at ricasso. Overall length 44.5". Steel gauntlet hilt is 11" long with hand grip inside and a .5" linked wrist support chain. Unmarked other than an old museum style catalog number inside the gauntlet in white ink. Cosigner's notes suggest an age of circa 1780, but more likely 19th century.
