Urn shaped pommel cap with American Eagle and foliate motifs. Grooved grip covered in shagreen with 13 wraps of twisted wire. Balde decorated with etched foliate, martial and patriotic images. Obverse ricasso etched The Pettibone/MFG. Co. Cincinnati, O in three lines in a ribbon. Includes a nickel plated brass mounted scabbard with dual suspension rings on the upper mount and one on the middle mount.
