Bowie knives range from 5.75" to 13" blade lengths with the longest example featuring an iron knuckle bow and walnut handle with applied tiger stripe pattern, smallest with stag horn handle, and the third with brass guard struck JII and VIII, and featuring a walnut eaglehead pommel and shield escutcheon to both flanks. Knives lack visible maker markings. Powder horn is 13" long and features a wood plug secured with iron tacks, and retains traces of leather sling that has broken off. Possibles bag is empty and has a restitched shoulder strap.
