Lot Description

Two US Model 1904 Bolo Knives, One with Scabbard
World War I

12" blade lengths. 17.25" overall with hilt. Two Model 1904 Bolo knives featuring curved single edged blades sharpened from one side and mounting wood grip scales secured by three brass fasteners, and mounting a brass S-curve guard and pommel cap. Item accompanied by the scabbard is struck to the right ricasso US/24817 and on the left with SA/{Ordnance Bomb}/1912. This aforementioned example comes with a leather scabbard with metal throat and articulated metal belt loop. Remaining Bolo marked US/31668 on the right ricasso and SA/{Ordnance Bomb}/1913.
