In a French form with a gilt brass neo-classical knuckle bow and guard, forward swept upper quillon and floral pattern shield shaped langets. Eagle head pommel with checkered wood grip. Unmarked blade is decorated with floral and martial themes and has some gilt highlights. Includes a gold bullion sword knot. Accompanied by a brass mounted steel scabbard without a throat and a collection tag from the William Hoffeld collection.
