Double edged wootz steel blade with slight downward curve and a rounded tip mounting a large ivory pommel and gold washed brass discs to the hilt. The blade is decorated with talismanic silver discs, and most likely dates from the latter 19th Century. The hilt and scabbard are most likely of later early 20th Century manufacture. Hilt displays a combination of overlapping foliate scroll, gold wire, and gold discs decorating the various bands. Two piece scabbard is made of wood, and mounts three low grade German Silver bands decorated with Ukkil.
