LIMITED EDITION, number 1272 of 2000 numbered copies on vlin bouffant, of a total edition of 2448. -- MERIMEE, Prosper. Carmen. Paris, [1926]. Etched plates, illustrations, and vignettes by C. Martin, each present in two states. Plum crushed levant, covers with abstract linear pattern in gilt, silver, and blind, gilt semi-circles, spine and lavender calf doublures similarly decorated, purple watered silk endpapers, marbled flyleaves, signed by Lotard 1928. LIMITED EDITION, number 69 of 150 numbered copies on vlin Rives teint, of a total edition of 176. -- Together 2 works, 4to, original slipcases, condition generally good with only minor scuffs or sunning.
