A Chippendale Mahogany Tall Case Clock WORKS BY JOHN FISHER, YORKTOWN, LATE 18TH CENTURY the hood with three twist-fluted finials above the swan neck pediment carved to show rosettes and dentiled decoration, the glazed door opening to the painted moonphase dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes, signed John Fisher/ York-Town and further set with a date aperture, the straight trunk fitted with a door flanked by fluted columnar pilasters, raised on ogee bracket feet.
