Lot Description

A group of fourteen Chinese Export porcelain tablewares from the "Gordon Dinner Service" and "Gordon Tea Service," late 18th century

All decorated with armorial crest in the form of be-ribboned oval containing shield surmounted by knight helmet surmounted by deer head, with bannerette above, inscribed, "Dum Sisto Vigilo," comprising three plates, a soup plate, two small dishes, four saucers, and two tea bowls, a teacup, and a teapot stand, the undersides bearing accession numbers, 79.500.15-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and 79.500.16-1, 2, 3, and 5, and labels with old Winfield Foundation accession numbers.
