A group of eight Chinese Export porcelain tablewares from the "Newton Service," made for the English Market, circa 1770-1785
All decorated with black and white armorial crest surmounted by dove, with gilt and blue enamel borders and accents, comprising two hot water / warming plates, an oval serving dish, two soup plates, two small reticulated plates, and a covered syllabub cup, the undersides bearing accession numbers 79.500.11-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, and labels with old Winfield Foundation accession numbers.
