Lot Description

A group of seven Chinese Export porcelain tablewares from the "Silviera Service," made for the Portuguese Market, late 18th century

All decorated with armorial crest in the form of an oval reserve containing stripes and motto, "Findit Quascumquae," flanked by laurel twigs and surmounted by gray bear within crown, the rim gilt and decorated with orange feather pattern, comprising a covered platter, three soup plates, and three plates, the undersides bearing accession numbers, 79.500.8-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and labels with old Winfield Foundation accession numbers.
