Quarter plate portrait of a lovely young woman with curled locks of hair hanging down to her shoulders and several pieces of gold-highlighted jewelry adorning her neck, ears, and fingers. (Tarnishing to edges, some spotting and scratching, spotting to mat, no preserver present; resealed.) Mat stamped 'PLUMBE." Housed in a leatherette case (repair to spine, surface wear and loss throughout). -- Sixth plate portrait of a young woman gazing off camera, wearing a gold-highlighted crucifix pendant, a fringed top, and a shawl around her shoulders. (Significant tarnishing to edges, spotting.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, cracking, paper residue, surface wear throughout) with a newspaper clipping featuring the poem After by Ella Wheeler. The poem is about a loved one passing away. -- Clear sixth plate portrait of a woman with her hair worn in a braided or nettted bun, posed with a small stack of books on the table next to her. She appears to hold a long, thin, gold-highlighted object in one hand. (Tarnishing to edges, few minor imperfections, otherwise clear image.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (surface wear). -- And 17 others, all sixth plate examples. Conditions and housings vary. -- Together, 20 daguerreotypes of women with gold accessories.
