Lot Description

A Chinese Gilt, Silvered and Turquoise Inlaid Bronze Belt Hook, Warring States Period
戰國 鎏金錯銀嵌松石雙獸首帶鉤
Warring States Period (476 BC-221 BC)

The belt hook cast at one end as a dragon or feline head and the other a standing bear with its body turned to the side, while in the center a winged bixie cast in high relief, the silvered shaft intricately inlaid with turquoise, a button is on the reverse.
