Receiver is marked {Eagle/173} followed by the jhv manufacturer code for the Hungarian Metallwaren Waffen & Machinenfabrik company, followed by date mark 1943. Item mounts a reproduction German pattern sling. Securing screw for the upper barrel band appears to be undersize, and possibly replaced. Left barrel and receiver struck with the {WWII German Eagle} mark with the underside of the wrist and forend marked {Eagle/WaA173} waffenamt marks. Serial numbers match where visible.
