Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle with octagonal receiver. Barrel shank shows maker mark reading REMINGTON/ARMORY/1917 with both the barrel shank and receiver displaying the {Imperial Russian Eagle} stamp. Right side of the rear sight base shows the Cyrillic P mark. Top of the rear sight base struck X forward of the ladder. Stock has some weak details that have been sanded down, and rounded edges to the finger grooves.
