The buttplate is stamped US, and both barrel bands are marked U. Saber bayonet has been ground off, and the configuration is consistent with the 2nd delivery type. Multiple frame screws are replaced, as is the tang screw. Comes with non matching cleaning rod, and mounts a reproduction sling.
