Breechblock are struck U.S./MODEL/1873, and is of the low arch type with a freefloating firing pin. Left barrel marked V/P/{Eagle Head}. Barrel band struck U, and the butt is marked US. Item features a two-piece triggerguard without sling loop, and a saddle bar and ring to the left wrist. Action fails to produce audible clicks and locks back weakly.
