WHITNEY. Item features a brass pan, flint with leather to the jaws, and sling loops to triggerguard and middle barrel band. Barrel marked LS US/P and is dated 1830 or 1839 to the tang. Buttplate marked US. Counterpane shows the circled LS cartouche of inspector Luther Sage.
