Unmarked U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber with Stuart Hangers
American Civil War
35" single edged curved blade with 26" stopped median fuller, 1" wide at ricasso. 41" in overall length, 6" hilt with cast brass two branch guard, knuckle bow and leather covered grooved wooden grip with 11 wraps of twisted wire. No markings present on blade or pommel cap. Steel scabbard with two suspension rings and correctly seamed bottom edge.
