**Remington Model 1903-A3 Rifle
World War II
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 3878965. Parkerized metal finish overall with oiled straight wrist walnut stock with full length upper handguard mounting adjustable aperture rear and pinned front blade sights. Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by internal box magazine charged with stripper clips, and featuring the stamped components used to reduce production costs. Top of the receiver is struck U.S/REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3 over the serial number. Barrel displays the {RA/Ordnance Bomb} mark indicating it is a Remington barrel, followed by a date marking 6-43, indicating it was made in June of 1943. Barrel features the two-groove rifling typical of Remington's production. Left wrist struck with the FJA mark of Frank J. Atwood, and RA mark of Remington Arms. Comes with canvas sling.
