Whitehall, London, November 25, 1668. One sheet folded to make four pages; 14 x 9 in. (356 x 229 mm). MS. document, signed by three of Charles II's ministers, Anthony Ashley Cooper, 1st Earl of Shaftesbury, Thomas Clifford, 1st Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, and George Monck, 1st Duke of Albemarle, concerning payment relating to Navy business and its delay due to the Great Fire of London in 1666; docketed on verso. Creasing from original folds, some separations along same; dampstaining in top fore-edge; chipping at bottom fore-edge; scattered minor soiling; in black cloth portfolio.
