Lot Description
Two cased images of fraternal men second half of the 19th century
The first, a sixth-plate ambrotype with hand-coloring in period, embossed case with oval, embrossed brass mat. The bearded Mason, who wears his fraternal apron and other insignia, sits in a chair with his arm propped on a nearby table. The second, a sixth-plate tintype in double-hooked, embossed case with nonpareil, embossed brass mat depicts three gentlemen in frock coats with foreign/fraternal insignia.
