Two Chinese Carved Jade Groups of Fu Lions
Qing Dynasty (1644-1912)
清 青玉太獅少獅及白玉辟邪
both depicting a big lion with a smaller lion, signifying the wish for a successful career, the larger of a greyish celadon stone with russet inclusions, the smaller of an even white tone.
Length of larger 4 1/4 in., 10.8 cm.; length of smaller 2 3/4 in., 6.98 cm.
