明-清 青玉虎兩件
the larger carved of mossy stone with cascading grey and white striations to show a wide-mouth tiger mid-stride, its facial features and musculature defined with gestural incisions, the smaller of translucent tortoiseshell tones, carved to show a bixie recumbent with its head cast back towards a bushy tail; each raised above a conforming hardwood stand.
Length of larger 12 1/4 in., 31.1 cm.; length of smaller 3 1/2 in,. 8.9 cm.
