[WESTERN AMERICANA]. JACKSON, W.H., photographer. A pair of Hayden Survey Yellowstone photographs from the Hot Spring Series, comprising:
2 albumen photographs, each 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. on cardstock mounts (toning, minor surface blemishes; light edge wear to mounts). Each titled and credited in gilt lettering on mount recto, "Hot Springs on Gardiners River, Group of Springs on Summit," and "Grotto Geyser, Fire Hole Basin," respectively. Each also with "Department of the Interior / U.S. Geological Survey of the Territories" imprint featured above gilt border surrounding image.
